The Athletic kept their winning ways with a fabulous away win over Senghenydd 54-12. It was a tail of two props for Penallta however who notched up 5 treis between them with Mark Cook scoring 2 tries and Dale Roberts recording his first hat trick for the club.

Senghenydd started he game excellent and took Penallta to the sword wit some outstanding handling through the backs which allowed their winger to cross for the first try of the afternoon and with the conversion from the Big Centre and a further try from their other winger had Senghenydd leading 12-0 after 20 mins But Penallta, after a stern talking to by coaches Steve Tucker and Leighton John Penallta turned into overdrive and rampaged accoss the Park. With solid performances from Rhion Hollister, Dale Roberts and Daniel Barwood Senghenydd could not live with the pace and power of the game.

The Athletic now travel to their Keith Jones Semi Final to Ynysybwl next Saturday where if they win they meet Bargoed for the 2^nd consecutive season.
