Penallta First XV The Pitmen	Penallta Athletic F Troop	Penallta Youth Young Pitmen	Penallta Mini Rugby Junior & Mini Pitmen
"The Pitmen" currently play in Swalec Division One East after only being awarded WRU status in 2004. Their historic rise through the WRU leagues has made them one of the most successful Clubs in recent welsh rugby history. Junior Union to Division One in successive seasons!	Penallta's hugely successful "second" senior side are the current champions of Rhondda & East Glam Premier One Division. Runners up in the 2008 Keith Jones Cup, they are a well respected team in their own right, as well as providing a stepping stone to the first team squad.	Penallta Youth - The Young Pitmen - have recently climbed to the top flight of the Dragons' Youth league set up. Runners up in the 2008 Caerphilly District Youth Cup they are a strong, young squad who continue Penallta's brand of exciting, running rugby.	The "Junior Pitmen" run sides from Under 8s to Under 16s level - with over 140 registered players. They have a history of excellence within the Dragons' junior rugby Cup competitions & regularly produce players who go on to play at the highest levels in senior rugby.
